LOYAL Action Projects

LOYAL Action Projects, or LAPS, are the hands-on short-term community service projects each LOYAL class completes as part of their LOYAL class experience. Community organizations submit proposals in the summer for projects they hope to have selected as a LOYAL Action Project. 6 to 8 projects are usually selected for each LOYAL class. Class members then choose which one of the projects they want to join, and the LAP team works November through April to complete the project. It's real-world experience in working with an established nonprofit to create positive community change.
